Jennifer has dedicated her life to taking care of children. As a little girl she loved spending time with children in her community. She volunteered in the church nursery, was children’s ministry director and worked in the college daycare while working toward her Early Childhood degree. Her family references Jennifer as the “Baby Whisperer”.
Jennifer Craig’s previous experience before coming to Little Hawks was a Director and Lead Teacher at Susannah’s House where she worked with children who have experienced trauma due to drug and alcohol use by their mothers. While at Susannah’s House, she earned two 30-hour training certificate, one in Adverse Childhood Experiences and the other Administration. Also, she has completed Conscious Discipline training and many other classes related to preschool children.
Before starting at Susannah’s House, Jennifer spent 21 years as a Financial Tech and Financial Tech II in Johnson City, Tennessee for an employment and training organization, Alliance for Business and Training, doing grant accounting. After moving to Knoxville, she spent 4 years working as a manager at Workforce Connections in the employment and training office, in both positions she handled over $3.6 million in accounts.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family on the lake and trips to the beach. She enjoys helping on the weekends with the children’s ministry at church whenever there is a need. She is a graduate of East Tennessee State University where she received her degree in Early Childhood. She is a member of Hardin Valley Football leadership team. Jennifer enjoys being involved in her church where she has been a youth sponsor, choir member, and nursery worker.
Her favorite bible verse is Exodus 14:14-“The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.”
Lisa Moneymaker is a dedicated Christian Preschool Assistant Director with considerable experience managing children. She is married to a very loving husband, with four wonderful boys, and is deeply mindful of maintaining an early learning environment matching the expectations of parents. She is knowledgeable of all aspects of screening and training teachers and staff appropriate to a Christian learning environment. Her previous job was Lead Toddler and Preschool Teacher at Susannah’s House where she worked with children who have experienced trauma due to drug and alcohol use by their mother’s. She has proficiency in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. Her firsthand years of experience in caring for pre-school children is unmatched. Capable of developing creative and academic learning activities. She has great leadership skills, is a motivator, comfortable at delegating tasks, capable of handling stressful situations and is an exceptional communicator.
